Use a small dish or a plate for your meals

There is no need to harbour a false notion that you can eat only boiled items during dieting. Tastefulness is the essence of meals. If the food is tasteless you are bound to develop an aversion for it in a few days. SO do maintain a variety in your food items. Add spices to them on a moderate scale. But restrict the use of salt.

Stop using a big plate, use a small dish or a plate for your meals.

Cut the raw vegetables and ingredients of salad yourself while you have your meals. Make sure you take small pieces of chapati or roti.

Take small morsels, chew the food properly and chew every morsel at least 15 times so that food is turned into liquid form. Remember the adage - do not eat your food, drink it.
